The 38th Conference on Value Inquiry\, on &ldquo\;Free \nWill\, Responsibility\, and Science\,&rdquo\; will be hosted by Salem State University on \nApril 18-20\, 2012. Papers and proposals for papers that address the interplay of \nfree will with moral responsibility and deliberation\, as well as the role of \nscience in giving scope to notions such as free will and responsibility\, are \nparticularly welcome. Space is limited\, so early submission is strongly \nencouraged and advised. Papers should be between 20-25 minutes reading \ntime.
\nBroad participation is sought\, with papers that may be \npractically or theoretically oriented. Topics may be disciplinary and range over \nissues within a single field of value inquiry such as ethics\, political theory\, \nor economics. Topics may be interdisciplinary and range over issues between two \nor more fields of value inquiry. Topics may even be meta-disciplinary and range \nover purely conceptual issues.
