DESCRIPTION:<p><em>Cognizance</em> <em>Online Journal of Philosophy</em></p>\n<p>Summer 2012 (Inaugural Issue) - Call\nfor Papers</p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: March 30th\, 2012</strong></p>\n<p><em>Cognizance </em>is an online journal created to showcase\noutstanding work in philosophy and promote undergraduate interest in philosophical\ntopics. We are seeking submissions for our inaugural issue\, to be released on\nJune 1st\, 2012. Please find the list of requirements and important\ndates below. Send all questions to <a href="mailto:cognizance.submissions@gmail.com">cognizance.submissions@gmail.com</a>.</p>\n<p><u>Requirements:</u></p>\n<p><strong>1.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Topic</strong></p>\n<p>a.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Papers must be written on\na philosophical topic.</p>\n<p>b.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Papers from all areas of\nphilosophy are welcome.</p>\n<p><strong>2.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Word Limit</strong></p>\n<p>a.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Papers must be <em>no more than</em> 4000 words in length.</p>\n<p>b.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; The ideal submission\nlength is 2000 words.</p>\n<p><strong>3.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Format</strong></p>\n<p>a.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Only Chicago and MLA\nformats are acceptable.</p>\n<p>b.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; A complete bibliography is\nrequired.</p>\n<p><strong>4.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Cover Page</strong></p>\n<p>a.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Attach (as a separate pdf)\na cover page that includes your full name and an ID number.  Include the ID\nnumber on the body of your submission.</p>\n<p>b.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Submissions will be\nreviewed blind.
