DESCRIPTION:<p>The psychoanalytic writers workshop is an annual speakers series which invites theorists\, critics\, and practitioners to discuss and explore theoretical issues. &nbsp\;We meet once a month over the course of the fall semester. &nbsp\;Accepted papers are presented on whatever Saturday fits with the speakers' schedule. &nbsp\;Papers not selected for presentation are still considered for publication in the annual review based on conference proceedings.</p>\n<p>This year we focus &nbsp\;on comparative accounts of psychoanalytic theory. &nbsp\;For example\, are drive theory and object relations compatible? &nbsp\;Can psychoanalytic theory inform philosophical accounts of mental phenomena and vice versa? &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Paperson all topics pertaining to psychoanalysis will be considered.&nbsp\;</p>
