By organizing the Oxford Philosophy Graduate Conference it is our aim to give young talents in philosophy a platform to present and exchange their ideas, with each other, the faculty of philosophy at Oxford, and our visitors.
This year, we are proud to announce that Sarah Broadie (St. Andrews), Jesse Prinz (CUNY) and Lucy O'Brien (UCL) have agreed to give keynote speeches at our conference, which will be held on the weekend of the 15-17th November 2013.
We encourage submissions from all current graduate students working in philosophy, both domestic and international.
Any current graduate student working in philosophy can submit onepaper. Papers can be on any topic in academic philosophy. We are particularly looking for papers that are accessible to a general philosophical audience. Our aim is to represent a broad range of topics and traditions in our final selection.
This is a student event (e.g. a graduate conference).
