8th International Transdisciplinary Symposium Bioethics and Aporia of Psyche

Dear associates and esteemed colleagues,

with joy and undisguised enthusiasm, we announce that the 8th International Transdisciplinary Symposium Bioethics and Aporia of Psyche will be held on May 9 and 10, 2024.

The symposium will be held in a combined version that includes live presentations and those in the online module.

This year's main topics of the symposium are:

– culture of empathy and mental health

– philosophical practice focused on work with special groups;

– existential psychotherapy in contemporary context

– improvement and protection of mental health in the community.

We will also enrich the program with the presentation of the latest publications, round tables, workshops, forum theatre performances and art exhibitions. The official languages of the symposium are Croatian and English.

Participation fees for speakers are: 30 euros for researches, and 15 euros for students, retired or unemployed persons.

The venue of the symposium is the Faculty of Philosophy and Religious Studies of the University of Zagreb (Croatia), Jordanovac 110.
