SUBJECT: The Moral Standard of Human Rights and Normative Ethical Critiques of Such Rights

DESCRIPTION: We will work to see whether a rational universal consensus supporting UN international human rights is possible or not. The idea of such a consensus will be put to the test of other normative ethical positions such as ethical pluralism, communitarianism, social contract theory, and various classical normative theories. Time will be devoted to
discussion and debate.
