Details

This event is a French-German summer school that addresses the relationship between the "anthropological moment" within modern German philosophy (notably the philosophical anthropology of Max Scheler, Helmuth Plessner and Arnold Gehlen, but also the phenomenological critique of Hans Blumenberg) and the diverse attacks on humanist thought that have shaped the landscape of 20th French philosophy (Foucault, Canguilhem, Deleuze, Derrida etc.). Contributions should be rendered in either French or German. Colleagues from outside France and Germany are warmly invited to participate. For details see the link.
