The journal Essays in the Philosophy of Humanism, sponsored by the
American Humanist Association and the Institute for Humanist Studies,
is entering its twenty-second year of publication in 2014 with
Equinox Publishing (UK). The editor, Dr. John Shook (University at
Buffalo) and consulting editor Dr. Anthony Pinn (Rice University)
invite submissions about topics relating to humanism, pluralism, and
cosmopolitanism. The deadline for submissions is 1 January 2015.
Essays in the Philosophy of Humanism deals with theoretical and
practical aspects of Humanism in a modern diversified society.
Articles apply a Humanist perspective to the historical,
philosophical, psychological, political, scientific, economic, or
religious aspects of individual and societal experiences. EPH is
