We are offering an accredited short course on The History and Philosophy of Evidence-Based Healthcare from 14 – 18 July 2014 in Oxford that may interest your students/members.

Participants will learn first-hand about how and why EBHC arose and where (if anywhere!) it should go.  Expert speakers for 2014 include:

  • Dr. Jeremy Howick (University of Oxford)
  • Professor Alexander Bird (University of Bristol)
  • Professor Bill Fulford (University of Oxford)
  • Professor Jon Williamson (University of Kent)
  • Professor Ulrich Tröhler (University of Bern)
  • Professor Mike Clarke (Queen’s University of Belfast)
  • Professor Ray Tallis

One of the themes students will explore this year is how philosophers have helped Evidence-Based Healthcare.
