Grant announcement and call for papers to doctoral students and recent post-docs (2010 and later): International Claremont Philosophy of Religion Conference (Claremont, California) The Udo Keller Stiftung Forum Humanum (Hamburg) has generously provided grants of $2,200 each to enable students to participate in the international Claremont Philosophy of Religion conference held in Claremont, California every February.
The theme of the Feb. 19-21, 2015 conference is "Self or No-Self: The Debate about Selflessness and the Sense of Self." This is an excellent opportunity for doctoral students to receive a grant, participate in the conference, and also have their contributions published.
The application (due August 31, 2014) requires a one page CV and a 5 page, double-spaced abstract of the proposed paper.
See the attachment announcements for more details about the application and also about the Claremont Conference. Please feel free to write to Marlene Block ([email protected]) or to Ingolf Dalferth ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
