The Written Word

The Karl Popper Foundation Klagenfurt is organizing a symposium with the title The Written Word that will take place from 18 to 21 February 2015. The objectives of the symposium are threefold: first, to discuss what Karl Popper has called “the philosophy of his old age”, viz. his theory of World-3; second, to make the collection of books and papers that Popper has left to the University of Klagenfurt better known as an invaluably rich source for any researcher interested in Popper’s thought; and last but by no means least, to honour the work Dr. Manfred Lube, without whose efforts this Popper Library would not have existed.
