CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHY CONFERENCE

55th  Annual Meeting

The Conference was created to provide a slightly more informal conference
than many others. St John’s Seminary provides a delightful, rural setting,
close to London and very easily reached by public transport (buses run from
Guildford Friary Bus Station to the gate every 20 minutes: Routes 53/63 from
Stand 7). Speakers in previous years have included Anthony Flew, Patrick
Sherry, John Cottingham, Mark Wynn, Stephen R.L.Clark and Elizabeth
Anscombe. The Conference has a commitment to providing a forum for younger
or less well-known scholars. No assumptions are made about religious
affiliation: the only requirement is that papers should be of interest to
scholars working within the Christian philosophical tradition, whether as
clarification, extension or challenge.

Conference prices are always minimal: all meals, drinks and overnight
accommodation are included for less than £100. The Conference fee is £15,
waived for those still in education or giving papers.
