In this day-long conference, researchers and scholars from throughout Europe will be hosted by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at King's College London for a discussion dedicated to issues of justice in contemporary Europe.
The workshop tackles a wide range issues regarding European integration and it is organized in three panels with postgraduate research students from universities such as Oxford, London School of Economics, and King's College London. The panels focus respectively on state-level, institutional, and philosophical perspectives and responses to the European crisis. The conference brings together intellectually diverse approaches to the problems facing post-Crisis Europe, promising to engender an informative and lively debate.
The workshop will feature lectures delivered by Professor Phillippe van Parijs, of the Faculty of Economic, Social and Political Sciences at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), and Dr. Albena Azmanova, Reader of Social and Political Thought at the Brussels School of International Studies.
