Details

The final conference of the French-German (ANR-DFG) project JuriLog
(Jurisprudence and Logic) will focus on new interdisciplinary
approaches to logic and law. Even though these two disciplines are
kindred in nature, they have often followed separate paths. The aim of
the JuriLog project is thus to bridge this gap: the new developments
in the field of logic may be put to work to address problems in the
practice and theory of law; at the same time, logicians may find in
law and theory of law a richness of logical rules which is difficult
to outmatch.  The conference will be hosting talks that include the
topics of factor-based legal reasoning, strategic argumentation in
law, applications of Constructive Type Theory, Epistemic Logic and
Game Theory to law.
