Globalization can be both positive and negative. Positively, it can
unite the world into the humane civilization; negatively, it might
disintegrate world by generating regional conflicts. According to
Pitirim Sorokin, wars and revolutions in modern times were not so
much about crises of economy, political systems, etc., rather about
the "sensate culture", which dominates the consumer society and
material values.

Martin Heidegger points out that the crisis of modern industrial
civilization is the crisis of the subjective consciousness and
subject-object thinking. It is the crisis of monocentric
consciousness, and a soulless man with rational-technical thinking,
who has lost touch with a divine-spiritual source of Being.

A fundamental solution of global crises such as socio-political,
economic, ethnic and religious conflicts could be possibly based on
the transformation of our consciousness, and through dialogue of
philosophies. Therefore, it is necessary for different philosophical
schools to think deeply the implication and implementation of
dialogic heritages and experience of cultures and development of
potential and practical dialogue.

The followings are subthemes to be considered for the conference:

1. Ontology of Philosophy Dialogue
2. Dialogic Heritages and Experience of Cultures
3. Western and Eastern Philosophies: Generalities and Peculiarities
4. Conditions, Foundations and Principles of Practical Dialogue
