We would like to invite you to the  XXVth International Conference and to the

SEVENTH  INTERNATIONAL BILINGUAL SUMMER SEMINAR

organized by the OLYMPIC CENTER FOR PHILOSOPHY AND CULTURE (OCPC) and the HELLENIC INSTITUTE OF EAST-WEST STUDIES  “XENOPHON” (HIEWS), which will take place from July 10-13, 2015, in Ancient Olympia and Zacharo, Greece.

A.THE ROLE OF GREEK PAIDEIA AND POLITICAL SCIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MORAL EXCELLENCES, POLITICAL EXCELLENCES, AND LAWFUL CONDUCT OF LEADERS

B. XENOPHON'S VIEWS ON DEVELOPING WISE LEADERS AND HIS ROLE IN THE DISSEMINATION OF THE IDEAL OF GREEK PAIDEIA. 

The organizers of the XXVth International Conference hope participants will explore thevariety of views on:

·         Philosophy and Hellenic Paideia

·         The Philosopher Leader

·         Political Science and the Leader

·         Philosophy and the Lawful Conduct of Leaders

·         Political Science, Moral and Political Excellences

·         Philosophical Interpretation of the Importance of Hellenic Paideia in the Light of the Present Crisis.

DEADLINES:

 February 28, 2015:  Abstract is due (300-500 words)

 May 31, 2015: Full Paper is due (2.500 words)

REGISTRATION:

 June 15, 2015:  Early Registration Fee (100 Euros or the equivalent)

July 10, 2015:  Late registration Fee accepted (120 Euros or the equivalent)
