The next annual meeting of the Mississippi Philosophical Association will be held at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, March 27-28, 2015. We will have a session devoted to philosophy of race and open-call sessions as well. Papers are invited in philosophy of race and in any other area of philosophy. Awards of $150 and $100 will be given to the top two graduate student submissions.
The featured speaker will be Robert Bernasconi (Edwin Erle Sparks Professor of Philosophy and African American Studies, Penn State).
Submissions (full papers only; 20-30 minute reading time) should be emailed no later than January 15, 2015 to [email protected]. Please indicate if you would be willing to serve as a commentator.
