for the VII edition of the International Scientific Conference on Neuroethics, 

Who Feels What?
Neuroethics between Brain, Mind, and Consciousness

that will be held in Padua from May 13th to May 15th, 2015.

Conference Topics

Contributions are open, however, papers on the mind-brain relationship, consciousness, pain, and neuroeducation will be particularly appreciated. Contributions can be experimental, theoretical, analytical, or critical works.


Submission Guidelines and Attendance

Participants can only send one contribution as first authors, but they can appear as second authors of other contributions. Abstracts must be submitted to [email protected], in either .doc or .pdf format. Authors should explicit their intention to submit a paper – as opposed to a poster.  Any request of information should also be sent to the same e-mail address. Abstracts must be ready for blind review. The submission files must contain only the title of the contribution, the abstract and the references. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, plus 10 references records, which will not be considered in the words count. Abstracts can be written either in Italian or in English, according to the language chosen for the paper.

In the text of the e-mail authors should indicate their personal information:
- name and family name;
- affiliation (if any);
- areas of interest;
- date of birth;
- title of the paper;
- e-mail address;
- phone number.


Deadlines and Reviewing Process

The deadline for abstract submission is April 9th, 2015.
Notification of acceptance will be given by April 17th, 2015.

Abstracts will be subject to blind review. The Scientific Committee will be selected from members of the Italian Society for Neuroethics (http://societadineuroetica.it/).

Accepted papers will have 25 minutes for presentation, plus 10 minutes for discussion. 

All authors of selected papers, if attending, will have to subscribe to the Conference. The fee for the author presenting the paper will be 35 Euros.
