he Philosophy Program at the University of Wollongong will be hosting a workshop on:

‘Varieties of Social Cognition’
February 11th & 12th

This workshop will involve researchers studying social cognition from a variety of perspectives. In addition to discussing theory-based accounts the speakers will examine enactivist, ecological, and narrative–based modes of engaging with and understanding others.

All are welcome to attend. There is no registration fee but please RSVP for catering purposes.

This workshop coincides with extended visits by UOW’s Professorial Fellows in Philosophy, Shaun Gallagher and Erik Myin, and the arrival of two new postdoctoral researchers in Philosophy: Anika Fiebich, funded by a Humboldt Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship, and Glenda Satne, winner of a UOW Vice-Chancellor’s 2015 Postdoctoral Fellowship.
