Details

Formerly the Society for Global Philosophy, the Society for Philosophy & Culture is an organisation dedicated to promoting interest in philosophy and other related disciplines. We also try to encourage cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary debate and discussion. We have branches at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and McMaster University, Canada.

Covering the topic of "Body, Mind & Self" the Conference invites scholars of manydifferent fields to present their work. Ranging from Philosophy to Sciences, Economics, Anthropology, Religious studies and many more areas, our conference will assemble as many point of views as possible. By sharing the opinions of each field, our goal is to illustrate the interrelation between the different areas of expertise therefore directly promoting a more encompassing vision of the topic.

Participation in the Conference is free of charge and our Society will provide dinner on the night of the inauguration as well as lunch and morning/afternoon tea during the rest of the weekend. We will provide a vegetarian menu, for any specific requirements please contact us.
