Details

The Society for Women in Philosophy Ireland (SWIP-I), in conjunction with University College Cork (UCC) Philosophy and Politics departments, are organizing a 2-day Conference on the UCC Campus, with a view to opening up a space for dialogue between artists and academics on the theme: “Aesthetics and the Feminine”, selected in recognition of the fact that women are still a minority group in the Philosophy profession. This conference aims to explore representations of “the feminine” across the arts in order to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be “feminine” (or not) today.
