Second University of Nevada, Reno Graduate Philosophy Conference

SECOND GRADUATE PHILOSOPHY CONFERENCE PRESENTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, RENO 

The University of Nevada, Reno is proud to host our second graduate philosophy conference. The conference will take place October 10-11, 2015 at the University of Nevada, Reno. There will be a cash prize awarded to the top three paper submissions. 

We invite stimulating submissions on any topic in philosophy without regard to any specific tradition or approach. Submissions should be prepared for 20-minute presentations and papers are not to exceed 3000 words. Please also include an abstract of no more than 100 words. We ask that submissions be provided in .doc, or .docx format. Please send papers prepared for blind review, excluding any personal information.

Our keynote speaker will be: 

Dr. Cheshire Calhoun

Professor of Philosophy, Arizona State University

We are particularly interested in papers focused on the work of our keynote speaker, Dr. Cheshire Calhoun of Arizona State University. We would like to devote a session to papers concerning her work. Recent work of Dr. Calhoun’s can be found on her website: http://cheshirecalhoun.com/
