About MAP

This conference is organized by members of the King’s College London Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) chapter, and is the first of its kind in the UK. MAP is a worldwide initiative aimed at understanding and addressing the challenges faced by under-represented groups in philosophy. The KCL chapter of MAP was formed in October 2014 and has since been working to further MAP aims within the department of Philosophy.

Information on MAP’s general aims and initiatives can be found on the MAP website ( http://www.mapforthegap.com ) and on the MAP UK regional website (http://mapuk.weebly.com).
