Rather than the usual stiff conference set up of a long presentation, commentator, and brief Q&A we have decided to have a symposium. The differnce is this: papers will be circulated to all presenters and audience in advance of the conference, there will be a brief presentation then a moderated roundtable discussion. This set up will be more engaging and beneficial to both the presenters and the audience. What's the point of having a conference if no one learns anything?
