Details

The program committee invites papers for the annual meeting of the North American Wittgenstein Society. The meeting will take place along with the Pacific Division meeting of the American Philosophical Association, to be held March 30-April 2, 2016 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, CA.

The program committee is interested in papers which discuss philosophical problems illuminated by Wittgenstein's later work. While we welcome submissions in any area of philosophy, from philosophy of language and mind to ethics and practical ethics, papers which are primarily exegetical are discouraged.

Papers should be prepared for blind review. The author's name and institution should appear on a separate cover page and not in the paper itself. Submissions (along with the cover page that includes a brief abstract) should be sent as .pdf attachments to an email with the subject line "NAWS 2016".

Submissions longer than 3,000 words will not be considered. Please include a word count with your abstract.

Deadline: September 23, 2015
