NOTE: THE DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION HAS BEEN EXTENDED

This free one-day event aims to provide a chance for postgraduate philosophy students to present their research to a wider audience than they otherwise would have at their home institution.

We invite papers from all areas of philosophy, although we particularly encourage work by and about women and minorities in philosophy.

While the conference is primarily for Victorian postgraduate philosophy students, attendees from elsewhere in Australia and overseas are more than welcome. Papers from Honours students will be considered, although priority will be given to postgraduates.

Standard time slots will be 30 minutes, including questions; hour long sessions are available for those using the conference for completion or confirmation seminars. If you would like to present, please submit an abstract of up to 100 words through our submissions page by the 26th of October.

Refreshments will be provided. Those who would like to attend without presenting can register to do so via our website.

Please direct any queries to [email protected]. This workshop is being organised by members of the Philosophy Postgraduate Group at the University of Melbourne.
