Faculty and students from anywhere in the world are invited to submit abstracts for the 2016 Meeting of the South Carolina Society for Philosophy. Submissions dealing with any topic in philosophy are welcome.

For all submissions, abstracts of 400-500 words are required by January 1, 2016.

Abstracts should be in a format suitable for blind review and include a title and a category (or two) in which the paper might fit at the conference. Please indicate in the body of your email the author’s name, institutional affiliation, phone number, and email address. If you wish your paper to be considered for a prize (see below), please note whether you are a graduate or undergraduate student. Final papers should be no longer than 3000 words.

Panel proposals on any topic in philosophy are also welcome.

Proposals should include abstracts for each presentation, a page specifying the topic, format (including time required), the names and contact information for all panelists, and titles for each paper.

Graduate and Undergraduate students must also submit full papers by February 1, 2015.

Full papers should no more than 3000 words, double spaced, and prepared for blind review. Two prizes will be awarded: one for the best paper authored by a South Carolina graduate student and one for the best paper authored by a South Carolina undergraduate student.
