Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is one of the most eminent intellectual figures of modern India. The present year educationist and humanist from all over the world are celebrating 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by organizing various events and programmes. In this regard the college took an initiative to be a part of this mega event by organizing this seminar. It has relevance for academicians and students from their academic part and also as an event to propagate Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s philosophy. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s ideas, writings and outlook could well be characterized as belonging to that trend of thought called Social Humanism. He developed a socio-ethical philosophy and steadfastly stood for human dignity and freedom, socio-economic justice, material prosperity and spiritual discipline. He showed the enlightening path for Indian society via his ideals of freedom, equality and fraternity and made India a democratic country.

Objectives of the Seminar:

  • To promote the ideas on social, economic, political, religious, human rights & constitutional reforms by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
  • To make the new generation aware about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s ideas on social justice/equity/national integration and women empowerment.
  • To explore the potentiality in Ambedkarism to strengthen the society and Indian national spirit.

Call for Papers:

Research papers are invited from faculty members and research scholars on the thrust areas of the seminar or any other related topic as per the suggested format:

Format of Submission:

  • The paper should be typewritten preferably in Times New Roman in 12 font size (English) or Kruti Dev (10) in 14 font size (Hindi) single spacing in MS-Word format and between 2500 to 3000 words.
  • The abstract/summary of not more than 150-200 words, mentioning Title, Name, Designation and Contact details of the authors should be accompanied with the paper.
  • The authors should submit the hard copy along with a CD and a certificate of originality of the paper to be sent to the college address.

Time Line:

Abstract Submission: December 31, 2015.

Full Paper: January 10, 2016.
