Details

The production of the new knowledge in the humanities sphere supposes a permanent researcher’s reflexion and a self-reflexion leading towards the perfection and specification of his research tools. Every humanitarian, from the time, at least, of the Greek Philosophers, follows in his work the same way that includes the critical thinking and rethinking of his thought, the verification of the questions, the multiple uttering of the answers with the goal to make it perfect. The different modes of thinking give rise – at the stage of speaking – to the various types of the responses, from methodologic ones to the descriptive and positivist.

The School of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities (National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia) invites everybody interested in taking part in the Congress “The Modes of Thinking, the Ways of Speaking.” The primary focus of the discussion will be held on the History of the Philosophy, the Applied Philosophy, the Philosophy of Law, the Philosophy of Language, the Gnoseology, the Ontology and Logic. Within the frames of the interdisciplinarity of our Congress, we are happy to invite to the discussion the colleagues from the other disciplines such as the Hermeneutics, History, Law, Letters or the Computer Science. The key problem of this Congress will be the elaboration of the new conceptual apparatus of the Humanities, the specification of the already established terms, the problems of its alteration and so on.
