We are proud to announce the first academic PPE conference at our university. From May 6th to 8th May, 2016 students and professionals from all over the world will discuss on the topic Justifying Power and Decisions in the 21st century: Rethinking Legitimacy from a PPE perspective.
How can political science, economics and philosophy contribute to shedding light on the current discussion of legitimacy in the 21st century? What are the latest research topics and hotly debated issues – and what is currently missing on the agenda?
The aim of the conference is to give advanced undergraduate, graduate and PhD students working in the field of PPE an opportunity to present and discuss their projects with peers, receive feedback for work in progress, and build a wider community of interdisciplinary students across Germany, Europe and beyond.
We particularly encourage you to develop your own thoughts on the theme, to connect your current seminar work with the conference topic … and to submit your own paper!
Papers on any theme or topic related to legitimacy will be considered.
Deadline: February 14th, 2015.
Send your paper to: [email protected].
All selected papers will undergo a peer-review process.
For any further questions, please contact [email protected].
