Details

The Second Conference of the European Network for Japanese Philosophy will be held in Brussels in honor of the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan.

Individual papers are welcome on a broad range of topics engaging European and Japanese philosophical traditions. Proposal for panels on topics from the intellectual history of Japan to general issues in philosophy are also welcome.

Papers may be delivered in English, French, Dutch, or Japanese.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 15 May 2016 and 500-words abstracts are due no later than 31 August 2016. Please send them to contact[at]enojp.orgor [email protected].

The Conference will be held at the Université Libre de Bruxelles(http://www.ulb.ac.be).
