Details

Run a reading group for your top students. Bring a speaker series to your center. Host a debate on current events.

You can partner with IHS to bring extracurricular educational events like these to your campus. Through the On-Campus Faculty Partnership, made possible by the John Templeton Foundation, IHS and faculty from across the country work together to encourage campus conversations beyond the classroom.

IHS will provide financial support, help to plan and market your event, consult on curriculum and speaker selection, and even coordinate logistics.

Examples of events faculty have hosted through partnering with IHS:

A Socratic seminar for 15 students at Yale University on public choice

A reading group on Commerce, Culture, and Liberty at Mount Holyoke College

A debate at the University of Louisville on U.S. immigration policy

A lecture on the political economy of drone warfare at Michigan State University

Encourage your undergraduate students to engage in meaningful conversations outside of the classroom. Partner with IHS to host an event on your campus. Learn more and submit an event proposal at:https://www.theihs.org/OCFP-philevents
