The Department of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham is hosting an informal one-day workshop on the philosophy of logic and mathematics.

All talks will take place in the European Research Institute (ERI) room G51. It's building G3 on the campus map at: http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/Documents/university/edgbaston-campus-map.pdf

11am-1230pm: Salvatore Florio (Kansas State), "Metalogic and the overgeneration argument"

1230-1.45pm: lunch (own arrangements)

1.45-3.15pm: Hartry Field (NYU/Birmingham), "Platonism, indispensability, conventionalism".

3.15-3.45pm: coffee

3.45-5.15pm: James Studd (Oxford), title tba.
