Details

The summer school is co-organised by the ECPR Standing Group in Political Theory, the ECPR Standing Group in Kantian Political Thought, and the Social Justice and Public Ethics Research Cluster at the University of Limerick. It is primarily aimed at graduate students and postdoctoral researchers working in the fields of moral and political philosophy/theory and it gives them a unique opportunity to exchange research and teaching ideas with colleagues from other universities and research institutes.

Ten taught sessions over two weeks will be led by international experts. There will also be student presentations, social events, and opportunities to explore the surrounding tourist attractions (e.g. the Cliffs of Moher).

Deadline for application/registrationJune 20th, 2016. To apply please submit your CV and a brief statement of interest by the deadline to either [email protected] or [email protected]. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until June 20th when the registration closes.

Cost: €670. This includes the delegate fee, 12 nights en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation on campus, lunches, one formal dinner, and a weekend trip. Please contact the organisers for alternative options.

Funding: Two grants covering the registration fee are available. The deadline for applying for these is May 31st. Please contact the organisers if you wish to apply for funding and please note that you will be required to produce evidence that you are unable to secure other funding and attend all sessions of the summer school.
