We are now accepting submissions for our second edition of PhilonoUS - The Sheffield Undergraduate Journal of Philosophy.

  • Papers must be between 2000-6000 words in length, excluding bibliography and abstract
  • The first page of each document must contain only the title of the paper and a brief abstract
  • Papers should be submitted via email as a word, or rich text document and sent to [email protected] with the subject 'FAO EDITORIAL ASSISTANT - SUBMISSION TO PHILONOUS'.
  • Papers should be carefully checked for spelling and grammar errors prior to submission
  • No identifying information should be present in the paper itself, however your name, institution and year of study and a contact email address for yourself should be given in the body of the email.
  • We are also accepting book reviews of up to 2000 words.
  • Papers may relate to any area of Philosophy, however those which approach existing literature in a new way or posit a new and innovative claim will be given preference.

All papers are peer-reviewed as part of a double blind process. Limited feedback is available on submissions once the review process has been completed and this will be available by no later than 30 September.
