Warwick Graduate Conference in the Philosophy of Mind

3rd-4th December 2016, University of Warwick (UK)

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 28th August 2016

Papers are invited from graduate students working in any area within the philosophy of mind broadly construed, i.e. including related topics in metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of psychology and cognitive science. Submissions should be suitable for presentation in 30 to 40 minutes (typically 3,000 to 4,500 words) and must be accompanied by a short abstract. Papers will be reviewed by members of the Department of Philosophy, University of Warwick; accepted papers will receive a response from a faculty member.

We strongly encourage submissions from women and other under-represented groups in philosophy.

Papers and abstracts must be prepared for blind review.The reviewing process will be managed through the EasyChair Conference System, and papers may be uploaded as PDF files through the following link:

We offer to cover registration costs and provide accommodation for graduate speakers. Pending a successful application for funding, we may also be able to offer bursaries to cover some of the travel expenses for graduate speakers.
