The V. Tagung für Praktische Philosophie brings together papers from all disciplines of practical philosophy, including ethics, social and political philosophy, and philosophy of law. This annual event is one of the biggest of its type in the German-speaking world with about 100 speakers. The kenyote speakers for the 2017 edition are Thomas Schramme (Liverpool) and Veronique Zanetti (Bielefeld). The conference language is German but presentations in English are possible and welcomed.

The conference is organized by the University of Salzburg. The submission of abstracts for single papers and for thematic panels (consisting of three or six papers) is possible until 1 June 2017.

The organizers invite all interested collagueags, junior and senior, to submit abstracts via the conference homepage. The conference fee is 30€ and covers the conference folder, coffee breaks, and one lunch snack on Friday.
