Description:
The 2nd Annual Philosophy Graduate Conference at AUB is run by AUB graduate students in the Philosophy department and it is to be held on May 18th and 19th, 2017.  The purpose of this conference is to expose students to the diversity of philosophical fields that graduate students are currently working on, and to bring together students from different universities to share and discuss ideas.

Keynote Speakers: Rebecca Comay (UToronto) and Maria Baghramian (UCD)

Topics:

General areas in philosophy e.g. metaphysics, ethics, epistemology, history of philosophy, feminism, Philosophy of Science, 19th century Philosophy and others.

CPF:
The Graduate students at AUB invite all philosophy graduate students to submit papers on any field in analytical and continental philosophy to be considered for presentation at the AUB graduate conference. Papers should be suitable for a 15-20 -minute presentation and a 10 minute Q&A session.

Papers should not exceed 3000 words and the abstract should be 250-300 words.

Submissions should be suitable for a blind review. Please include 2 separate attachments: (1) cover letter with author’s name, educational level, institution, paper title and abstract (2) ONLY title, abstract, and paper.
