We now invite submissions from all graduate students in
philosophy for the 5th Stockholm Philosophy Graduate
Conference to be held at Stockholm University on 28–29
April 2017.


Papers on any topic in philosophy are welcome. Philosophers
from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to
submit. Submissions will be selected according to
argumentative strength, originality, clarity, and accessibility
to a wider philosophical audience. Selected papers are to be
presented in a 30 minute talk, followed by a 10 minute
commentary by a senior faculty member, and a 20 minute
open discussion.


Keynote speaker is Professor Hilary Greaves (Oxford). A
second keynote speaker will be announced shortly.


Submission Guidelines


Deadline for submissions: 15 January 2017.


The application should contain the following:


• A cover letter containing (a) author's name, (b)
institutional affiliation, (c) contact information (at least
email address), (d) paper title, (e) word count, and (f)
subject area(s) of the paper (e.g. ethics, metaphysics,
epistemology, philosophy of language, etc.).


• The paper, which should (a) not exceed 3000 words
(including footnotes, excluding title, abstract and
references), (b) be prepared for blind review, and (c)
include an abstract of no more than 250 words.
