Details
The program committee invites papers for the fourteenth annual meeting of the North American Wittgenstein Society. The meeting will take place along with the Pacific Division meeting of the American Philosophical Association, to be held March 27-31, 2013 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, CA.
The program committee is interested in papers which discuss Wittgenstein's connection with ordinary language philosophy or in papers which discuss philosophical problems illuminated by Wittgenstein's later work. Papers which are primarily exegetical are discouraged.
Papers should be prepared for blind review. The author's name and institution should appear on a separate cover page and not in the paper itself. Submissions (along with the cover page and a brief abstract) should be sent as .pdf or .doc attachments to an email with the subject line "NAWS 2013". Submissions longer than 3,000 words will not be considered. Please include a word count with your abstract. When submitting your paper, please also indicate whether you'd be willing to serve as a commentator in the event that your paper is not selected for presentation.
