How has philosophy dealt with the question of art?
Although discussions of aesthetics have often been concerned with notions of beauty, other philosophers have looked at the question of creativity. Others still, have looked at the relation between life and art.
In this discussion, D Philipa Rothfield will canvass some themes of philosophy’s engagement with art and invite the audience to discuss their own views.
