The idea of this Workshop is to have an online event with exploratory talks about the relation between argumentation and the syllogism. Some of the research questions that guide our proposal are: a) Is there any difference between syllogism and argumentation? b) Is there any aspect of the syllogism that distinguishes it from argumentation? c) Would it be correct to maintain that argumentation is a syllogism that has more than three parts\, where the fourth\, fifth\, and more parts are proofs of the truth value of the premises?
