The Conference was created to provide a slightly more informal conference \;than many others. St John&rsquo\;s Seminary provides a delightful\, rural setting\, \;close to London and very easily reached by public transport (buses run from \;Guildford Friary Bus Station to the gate every 20 minutes: Routes 53/63 from \;Stand 7). Speakers in previous years have included Anthony Flew\, Patrick \;Sherry\, John Cottingham\, Mark Wynn\, and Elizabeth Anscombe. The Conference \;has a commitment to providing a forum for younger or less well-known scholars.
\nConference prices are always minimal: all meals\, drinks and overnight \;accommodation are included for less than £\;100. The Conference fee is £\;15\, \;waived for those still in education or giving papers.
