DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for Papers</p>\n<p>Indiana Philosophical Association&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Fall Meeting\, November 11-12\, 2022</p>\n<p>Indiana University\, Kokomo</p>\n<p>Keynote Speaker: Paul Weithman\, Notre Dame</p>\n<p>For this meeting\, we invite submissions in any area of philosophy. We especially invite papers for two special themed sessions: (1) in honor of David McCarty and highlighting work in logic and (2) on work in political economy. Submitted papers should be (i) no more than 3000 words\, (ii) prepared for blind review\, and (iii) accompanied by a separate page that includes title\, author information (name\, affiliation\, and contact information)\, and an abstract not exceeding 150 words. Materials should be submitted to Joseph Gamache (jgamache@marian.edu).</p>\n<p>The plight of marginalized groups and individuals has gained increasing relevance in socio-political thought. We especially encourage submissions from individuals who identify as members of groups currently underrepresented in philosophy and academia more generally.</p>\n<p><strong>Deadline</strong>&nbsp\;for submissions is&nbsp\;<strong>28 August 2022</strong>.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Decisions</strong>&nbsp\;will be sent out no later than&nbsp\;<strong>30 September 2022</strong>.</p>\n<p><strong>Papers&nbsp\;</strong>should be&nbsp\;<strong>no more than 3000 words&nbsp\;</strong>and prepared<strong>&nbsp\;</strong>for blind review.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Submissions should be sent to Joseph Gamache (jgamache@marian.edu).</p>\n<p><strong>Paper Prizes&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>The IPA will present three paper prizes: (1) an undergraduate paper prize\; (2) a graduate paper prize\; and (3) a general paper prize in logic (in honor of David McCarty). Each award will be accompanied by a cash prize of $100. Papers submitted for (1) or (2) should be identified as either graduate or undergraduate student papers on the title sheet.</p>
