DESCRIPTION:<p>The <em><strong>Scientific Knowledge and Its Public Understanding: Interdisciplinary Perspectives</strong></em> conference provides an inclusive forum for the exchange of experimental and theoretical approaches to problems in science communication\, the public understanding of science and socioscientific controversies. Confirmed keynote speakers include <strong>Linda Skitka</strong> (University of Illinois\, Chicago)\, <strong>Stephan Lewandowsky</strong> (University of Bristol)\, and <strong>Mikkel Gerken</strong> (University of Southern Denmark).</p>\n<p>This two-day international meeting will be held at the joint Faculty of Philosophy/Faculty of Psychology campus in Seville\, Spain.&nbsp\; Presentation of work related to science communication\, socioscientific controversies\, epistemology of science communication\, experimental philosophy of science and pseudoscience is welcome. The Call for Abstracts is now open.
