Woodward on November 4th and 5th 2022. &nbsp\;This is the weekend before&nbsp\;PSA2022</a>\, also&nbsp\;being held in Pittsburgh.\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nJim Woodward was Professor at Cal Tech for many years and moved to Pittsburgh in 2010. &nbsp\;He is the author of numerous papers and two books:&nbsp\;<em>Making Things Happen: A Theory of Causal Explanation\,</em>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;2003 (OUP) which won the Lakatos Award in 2005. &nbsp\;More recently he has published&nbsp\;<em>Causation with a Human Face: Normative Theory and Descriptive Psychology\,</em>&nbsp\;2021 (OUP).\n
