DESCRIPTION:<p>The Lund Gothenburg Responsibility Project (<a href="https://www.lgrp.lu.se/">https://www.lgrp.lu.se/</a>) invites submissions for its 2023 graduate conference. LGRP is a 10-year-long project funded by the Swedish Research Council\, which aims to be a leading centre for the study of responsibility and related themes.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We are pleased to announce that the keynote speakers will be: <strong>Paulina Sliwa </strong>(University of Vienna)\, who has written on moral epistemology\, moral psychology\, and ethics\; and <strong>Carla Bagnoli</strong> (University of Moderna and Regio Emilia)\, who has written on philosophy of action\, moral epistemology\, and moral psychology.</p>\n<p>The conference aims to bring together early researchers working on new and exciting developments in the philosophy of responsibility and free will. Possible topics include\, but are not limited to:</p>\n<p>-&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; Philosophical methodology for the field of free will and responsibility</p>\n<p>-&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; The relationship between responsibility and the emotions</p>\n<p>-&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; Approaches to praise and blame</p>\n<p>-&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; Theories of punishment</p>\n<p>-&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; Responsibility over time</p>\n<p>-&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; Responsibility and atypical agency</p>\n<p>-&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; Responsibility and power imbalances</p>\n<p>The conference will take place in Lund\, Sweden\, on the <strong>13th and 14th of April\, 2023. </strong>There will be up to seven talks besides the keynotes. Speakers will be asked to deliver a full paper of between 6000 and 8000 words at least a month before the conference. Each speaker will be assigned a member of LGRP as a dedicated commentator. Presentations will last for 40 minutes\, followed by 40 minutes for comments and Q&amp\;A.</p>\n<p><strong>Submission process:</strong></p>\n<p>The deadline for submission is the 30th of November\, 2022.</p>\n<p>Submission should include (1) an anonymized abstract of up to 1000 words and (2) a separate cover sheet with title of talk\, the author&rsquo\;s contact information\, affiliation\, and level of study. All documents should be in pdf-format.</p>\n<p>All submissions should be sent to Alexander Velichkov at <a href="mailto:alexander.velichkov@fil.lu.se">alexander.velichkov@fil.lu.se</a>. Include &ldquo\;LGRP Graduate Conference&rdquo\; in the subject line.</p>\n<p>Eligible candidates include current doctoral students as well as early-career researchers who have completed their PhD not more than two years prior to the submission deadline.</p>\n<p>All submissions will go through a double-blind peer review.
