DESCRIPTION:<p>In March 1963\, The Viking Press published Hannah Arendt&rsquo\;s book &ldquo\;On Revolution&rdquo\;. Since then\, the book has provoked a significant amount of controversy\, yet at the same time it has been relatively neglected compared to Arendt&rsquo\;s other major works. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its publication\, the present conference seeks to explore the legacy of &ldquo\;On Revolution&rdquo\;\, assessing its relevance for contemporary social and political thought.</p>
