DESCRIPTION:<p>The Bulgarian Society for Analytic Philosophy together with the Department of Philosophy at Sofia University are pleased to announce a forthcoming conference under the title&ldquo\;Naturalism in Philosophy&rdquo\;. The conference will take place on May 19-21\, 2023 at Sofia University\, Bulgaria.</p>\n<p><strong>Keynote Speakers: </strong></p>\n<p>Hilary Kornblith (University of Massachusetts Amherst)</p>\n<p>Mitchell Green (University of Connecticut)</p>\n<p>Bana Bashour (American University of Beirut)</p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines</strong></p>\n<p>One can adopt many forms of a naturalist stance &ndash\; from metaphysical naturalismtrough naturalistic epistemology and moral naturalism\, coming to recent attempts to argue in favour of a naturalised aesthetics. We invite abstract submissions addressing any aspect of naturalism in philosophy\, including such arguing against the adoption of a naturalised stance. We celebrate the opportunity to engage together in a live debate about naturalism`s place in philosophy.</p>\n<p>All submissions are to be prepared for a double-blind review. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words. Please submit your abstract with a short biographical note attached in a separate document. All submissions should be suitable for presentation of approximately 20 minutes in length. After each presentation\, speakers will have 10 minutes for Q&amp\;A. <strong>The deadline for submissions is January 10th\, 2023.
