The 38th Conference on Value Inquiry\, on &ldquo\;Free Will\, Responsibility\, and Science\,&rdquo\; will be hosted by Salem State University on April 18-20\, 2012. Papers and proposals for papers that address the interplay of free will with moral responsibility and deliberation\, as well as the role of science in giving scope to notions such as free will and responsibility\, are particularly welcome. Submissions will be reviewed until the program is filled. Papers should be 20-25 minutes reading time. Papers should be between 20-25 minutes reading time.
\nBroad participation is sought\, with papers that may be practically or theoretically oriented. Topics may be disciplinary and range over issues within a single field of value inquiry such as ethics\, political theory\, or economics. Topics may be interdisciplinary and range over issues between two or more fields of value inquiry. Topics may even be meta-disciplinary and range over purely conceptual issues.
\nDaniel Dennett (Tufts)\, Robert Audi (Notre Dame)\, and Thomas Magness (Drew) will be the plenary speakers at the conference.
